The Pasta Company opened its doors in June 2001 when Salvatore and Kerryn relocated from Melbourne to share their passion for supreme pasta with the locals of Queensland.

Eastern influences dominate the cooking style of self-taught North Queensland gourmet, Kerryn, who was owner and chef of an Indian inspired Café in Mooloolaba before heading south for a change of pace as a sales and marketing manager for a leading hotel group.

For Melbourne native, Salvatore, a flare for inspired Italian cooking was a birthright, fine-tuned by years working within the restaurant & hospitality industry and operating well known & respected hotels & restaurants in Melbourne & Brisbane.
